Pupil privacy comes first
This planner has no pupil profiles or student-identifying fields. Use generic teaching instructions and resources only; do not add personal information to notes or printouts. Choose generic subjects and staff labels only. Do not enter identifiable pupil information. Timetables remain in this browser; this is not a school-approved staffing or safeguarding system.
Set school hours, plan activities and review your timetable.

Choose how many terms your school uses, then add the dates you know. The week number restarts each term; whole weeks without teaching days are skipped. Add school holidays, bank holidays and inset days manually below. No closures are filled in automatically. These settings stay in this browser.
Term dates
School closures (optional)
For a single inset day, use the same start and end date.

A little space for you
Coming up
A thought for your classroom
Today’s focus
Based on your saved timetable and your own deadlines. No performance scores, streaks or automatic bookings.
A little more human, every day.
Personal encouragement and gentle prompts that make space for everyone. No pupil names or personal details needed.
Messages are optional, not performance scores. Your display name and preferences stay in this browser. No pupil data is used. Device reminders can be enabled below while this planner stays open.
Reminders and deadlines
Keep important dates in sight, without letting reminders take over your day. All reminders are optional and appear inside this planner only while it is open. You can also enable device notifications or save deadlines to your calendar below.
Personalise my reminders and manage deadlines (optional)
Your reminders, your choice. Changes save automatically in this browser. You can skip this section at any time.
Set wellbeing reminders
Teacher wellbeing
You are in control. Nothing is compulsory.
Reminders are shown at most once per day, while this page is open. Device notifications are optional. Keep the planner open for its reminders.
Add or review deadlines
Deadlines, without the panic
Add school reports, meetings, tracking dates or any task. Nothing is pre-filled or shared.
Use a short description without pupil details.
Choose 1 to 31 days before the deadline.
Reminders appear in the message box above and a banner at the top of the screen. Device notifications require your permission and this planner to remain open. For reminders after closing it, save deadlines to your calendar and import the downloaded file into your calendar app. Check its alerts are enabled; calendar settings control delivery.
Stored in this browser only, without an account or server. No pupil names, records or sensitive information: use generic subject, staff and deadline selections only. Clearing browser data can erase these reminders; device and calendar settings affect reminder delivery.
Personal encouragement (optional)
AS visible ? Your wellbeing
A little space for you.
You spend so much of your day making space for others. Here is a little reminder to make some for yourself, too.
Your next little pause
A thought to take with you
Nothing to tick off. No scores or streaks. Take what helps and leave the rest.
A Little Space
Would some time before a deadline help? Review a possible gap, change it, reserve it or dismiss it. A gap in the timetable may include other duties: only you can confirm it is available.
Your reserved planning time
A reminder appears five minutes before reserved time while this planner is open. Device notifications need your permission. For reminders after closing the planner, download and import the calendar file; it includes an alert.
Reservations are dated personal planning notes. They do not change staffing cover or automatically turn non-contact time into free time. Calendar copies are managed separately.
School calendar & hours
Step 1: enter Monday's pupil and working hours, tick the days to copy, then add any clubs or meetings.
Start with Monday's pupil and working hours, then tick the days that should use the same hours. Open the other days below to make individual changes. Set staff break windows in the team section.
Clubs and other commitments
These can run at lunchtime or after school. They block teacher availability, and the Reality Check will flag clashes with breaks and lessons.
Individual staff availability and automatic breaks
Step 2: add each adult using a generic label, set availability and choose shared break windows. Enter the minimum cover your classroom needs below.
Set working hours for each generic staff label. Enter a shared time window and length for each break below. The planner will try to stagger breaks while keeping the required staff with pupils and activities. You do not need to choose each person's break time.
Automatic staff breaks
The planner chooses who takes a break and when, using working hours, saved activities and required cover. It automatically chooses whether one or two support staff can take a break together, preferring one at a time and keeping required duties covered.
Break lengths and available times
Add your team and activities. Break times are calculated automatically when you open this section or change its settings.
Support cover
Choose the support needed for each lesson, subject or break on its activity card in the next step. You can select a different headcount, teacher and support team for every activity.
For example: Maths can need 1 support person, PE can need 2, and another activity can need none.
Use this only if your classroom has an agreed minimum at all times. The planner uses the higher of this minimum and the activity's headcount; it does not add them together. Named staff choices remain attached to each activity.
Teaching and activities
Step 3: choose a subject or add your own, enter the class/group, then tick its teaching days. Add a separate activity for each different class or time.
Choose a subject or activity from the dropdown, or select Add your own subject / activity. Enter separate classes as separate activities, even when they study the same subject.
Name each activity and tick all the days it repeats. Select a start time and duration (for example 45 or 60 minutes). For whole-class lessons, choose whether the teacher is required. Staff needed means support staff assigned to that activity, not the teacher.
Weekly timetable · Recommended view
One week. Every person. Every break.
Step 4: build the timetable, review any cover warnings, then save your PDF or print the weekly rota. Rebuild after changing settings.
This timetable places staff breaks within your chosen windows, using working hours, activities and teacher commitments. It does not invent cover: unmet requirements are highlighted for review.
Enter staff and activities above, then build your timetable. Use fictional staff labels for testing.
Save or open your plan
Save to PDF saves a readable plan with the editable settings inside it. Use Load PDF to continue editing later. Keep the original downloaded PDF: ordinary print-to-PDF copies do not contain editable data.
PDF appearance and printing
Saved plans and exported PDFs include activities, staff, hours, break windows, cover requirements, reminders and encouragement settings. Opening a file asks before replacing your current settings. Files are processed on your device.
